We are SONPEX AGENCIA MARITIMA LTDA, a private legal entity, registered with CNPJ under number 10.366.176/0001-15, headquartered at Rua Barão de Cotegipe, 443, rooms 805 and 807, Centro, CEP 96.200-290, Rio Grande/RS. Sonpex was founded in Brazil in 2008 with a specific goal in mind: to provide dynamic and fully connected service in today's world. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW - LEI GERAL DE PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS (BRASIL)
 

Law 13.709/18 aims to regulate the processing of personal data, with the primary goal of defending and protecting privacy and freedom rights. The law establishes that the National Data Protection Authority will be the public body responsible for ensuring effective compliance with the law through inspections and the imposition of fines for any violations committed. In compliance with the law's requirements, Sonpex seeks total transparency with data subjects. GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)
 

The General Data Protection Regulation is legislation aimed at regulating the processing of personal data, with the fundamental purpose of defending and protecting individuals' privacy and freedom rights. The legislation stipulates that each Member State shall designate a public authority to monitor the application of this Regulation, with the aim of protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons. In compliance with legal requirements, Sonpex seeks total transparency with data subjects.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED AND THEIR PURPOSES
 

Sonpex, referred to as the Data Controller, will process the following personal information:
 

  • Name; Phone; Email: These data enable the identification of the client, communication, and the provision of services tailored to their reality and needs.

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Processed personal data is shared with Sonpex group companies. We ensure that information is not shared with other external agents, committing to treating your personal data in accordance with LGPD, GDPR, and other laws related to Data Protection. Additionally, under no circumstances do we commercialize information or disclose it to third parties without authorization, except for constituted authorities, in strict compliance with the law.

 

SECURITY MEASURES APPLIED BY SONPEX
 

We take responsibility for maintaining security measures, both technical and administrative, capable of protecting personal data from unauthorized access and situations of accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication, or any form of inappropriate or unlawful processing. In accordance with Article 48 of Law No. 13.709 (LGPD) and Article 33 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Sonpex, through the Data Protection Officer, will notify the Data Subject and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or the Relevant Authority of any security incident that may pose a relevant risk or harm to the Data Subject.

 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS UNDER THE GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW
 

LGPD lists 9 rights that you, as the data subject, have. You can access these rights through Article 18 of the Law, which includes the following provisions:
 

  • Confirmation of the existence of processing

  • Access to personal data

  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data

  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or data processed in violation of LGPD

  • Data portability to another service or product provider, upon express request, in accordance with ANPD regulations, observing trade and industrial secrets

  • Deletion of personal data processed with the consent of the data subject

  • Information about public and private entities with which the controller has shared data

  • Information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of refusal

  • Revocation of the provided consent

GDPR lists rights in Chapter 3 that you have. You can access these rights through the following articles of the Regulation:

  • Right to Erasure (or "right to be forgotten"): Article 17 of GDPR

  • Right to Restriction of Processing: Article 18 of GDPR

TERMINATION OF DATA PROCESSING
 

The Data Subject may request, via email or in person, to Sonpex at any time, the elimination of the personal data provided. The Data Subject is aware that it may be impractical for the Controller to continue providing services to the Data Subject after the deletion of personal data.
